Bonfires, s\u2019mores, a slight chill at night. This pizza nailed it for me. The sweetness of the onion and corn, the freshness of the fennel and orange, the slight heat from the Nduja \u2013 all that hits the spot.<\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipeWrapper mceNonEditable\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\" data-rating=\"0\"> \t<link itemprop=\"image\" href=\"https:\/\/pizzatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Sept_webImgs-10-deck.png\" \/>\n<div class=\"item ERName\">Summer Banger | On Deck<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERSummary summary\">Ending Summer With a Banger | On Deck Recipe Type : Pizza Author: Chris Decker<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd fennel bulb (finely diced)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd white onion (finely diced)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 ear white sweet corn (shucked and saut\u00e9ed)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 ounces Nduja<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 ounces clam juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">6 16\/20-count shrimp<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 marble potatoes (boiled)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tablespoon cr\u00e8me fraiche<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 ounces dry white wine<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 ounces of whole milk mozzarella<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 ounce smoked mozzarella<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Orange zest<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Scallion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat a saut\u00e9 pan on medium heat and add some olive oil. Saut\u00e9 shrimp until they start to turn pink on one side, then flip.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Repeat on other side; try to undercook by a minute or so, as they will fully cook when added to pizza to bake.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Once shrimp are done, turn down flame to low and remove shrimp from pan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add diced onion and fennel, and saut\u00e9 until vegetables start to soften.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add white wine to deglaze pan and boil off for 2-3 minutes. Add Nduja and melt into onion\/fennel mixture.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">When the Nduja is fully incorporated, take off heat and stir in cr\u00e8me fraiche. Set sauce aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cut shrimp in half down the back, giving you two full-size pieces of shrimp.
